A symphony of celebration! 🎼❤️ This President’s Day, our residents were treated to a world-class performance by violinist Rose Crelli. From classic favorites to stirring patriotic sets, Rose’s artistry made it a day to remember.

Love was truly in the air (and in the music!) this past Saturday. 🌹🎷 We’re still smiling thinking about our Valentine’s Day celebration. Our residents spent the afternoon looking sharp in their new Valentine's brooches, holding fresh roses, and soaking in the smooth sounds of the incredibly talented saxophonist, Nelson Nazareno.

But the real showstopper? The letters. 💌
We shared a special reading of "love letters" written by our residents and staff. It was a beautiful reminder that love isn’t just one-size-fits-all. We heard tributes to:
❤️ Devoted husbands and wives
❤️ Cherished grandparents and best friends
❤️ Lifelong passions like art and music

It was a day of high notes, sweet scents, and even sweeter memories. Thank you to everyone who shared their heart with us!

A full house and full plates! 🥗🏠 We loved meeting so many new faces at our Lunch & Learn event last week. From guided tours to a world-class meal prepared by our Culinary team, it was a fantastic afternoon of discovery and connection. Huge thanks to our staff and the families who joined us. We had a very special guest last week: Corrie the Labrador! A big thanks to De from the SPCA for stopping by to visit. Our residents had a wonderful time meeting Corrie, and he certainly didn't mind all the extra pets and love. Come back and see us soon, you two! 🐕‍🦺 🐾

Our hearts (and our bellies) are officially full after a week-long celebration of love at The Trousdale! ❤️✨ From getting creative with frosting to enjoying some fizzy favorites, our residents and staff had a blast sharing the Valentine’s spirit. Here’s a look back at our favorite moments:

🍪❤️ Cookie Decorating: We might have some professional pastry chefs in our midst! Our residents turned plain cookies into edible works of art.

🍦🥤 Cupid Float Social: We sipped on some festive pink floats and enjoyed some great conversation. It was the perfect "sweet" treat to cool down with!

From our Tree of Hearts to personalized Valentine's necklaces, the creativity throughout our community is unmatched. It’s a wonderful reminder that the best gifts are always the ones made from the heart. ❤️✨

A little art for the soul! 🎨 Our residents recently spent a beautiful day exploring the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. Between the breathtaking architecture and the stunning works of art in the Manet & Morisot exhibition, it was an afternoon filled with inspiration and great company. There’s nothing like a day of culture to keep the creative juices flowing! 🏛️✨

Serving those who serve us! 🛡️🍳 We had a wonderful morning hosting our local heroes for a First Responders Appreciation Breakfast. It was a privilege to see our dining room filled with the brave men and women who keep our community safe every day.

A massive thank you to Chef Martin Sanchez, our Director of Culinary Experience, and his talented team for preparing such a delightful spread. From all of us here, thank you to our first responders for your dedication, your sacrifice, and your service. We are so grateful to have you in our corner!

Our hearts (and our halls) were full of music this past Sunday! We were so lucky to host the talented student volunteers from Link-Age Youth Music for a special afternoon performance.

There is something truly magical about seeing different generations come together through the power of a song. Our residents loved not only the beautiful music but also the chance to chat with these inspiring young performers.

A huge thank you to Link-Age Youth Music for sharing your time and talent with us. You certainly brightened our weekend!
