Fun Fact Friday!

Did you know your heart beats about 100,000 times every single day, moving around 2,000 gallons of blood through your body? Over the course of your life, that adds up to over 2.5 billion beats.

That’s a lot of work! The good news is you can help your heart stay strong and efficient with a few simple habits:

Move Daily 🏃‍♂️ – Just 30 minutes of moderate activity (like brisk walking, cycling, or strength training) can lower blood pressure and improve circulation.

Eat Heart-Healthy Foods 🥦 – Diets rich in vegetables, fruits, lean protein, nuts, and omega-3s have been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease.

Manage Stress 🧘 – High stress can increase blood pressure and strain the heart. Techniques like deep breathing, meditation, or even a simple walk can make a difference.

Did you know your muscles can actually “remember” tension?

When you’re stressed, slouching at your desk, or repeating the same movement over and over, certain fibers in your muscles tighten up and form what we call trigger points. These spots don’t always relax on their own — the muscle can basically “learn” to stay stuck in that shortened, tight state.

That’s why the same knots in your neck, shoulders, or back often keep coming back again and again.
