This weekend will be a PERFECT weekend for kids yoga and blueberries at .
This is our only kids yoga class that is not part of a series so anyone can drop in for a morning of fun yoga and delicious berries 🧘♀️🫐
How it started ➡️ how it’s going. Def not all rainbows but that sibling bond is next level🥹
Join us for Sibling prep on Aug 10 if you’re excepting #2. Get big sib excited, and teach them some ways they can be helpful.
AND because I just went through this transition, I share the insider info: highs, lows, tips, failures. Spoiler alert, those first two weeks when you watch your toddler leave with your partner while you are recovering, you watch your heart walk out the door but I promise it gets better 😭😭

GROW community, we are SO grateful for you. Today was a perfect storm for our teachers. We had a yoga teacher subbing a kids class, our beloved Carolyn who now lives in MAINE sub Preparing Your Body for Birth, and we had a yoga teacher without childcare! It was a wild one and it sure wasn't perfectly executed BUT community is understanding and you guys made us feel like it was all okay! In fact someone said at the end of maybe one of our busiest yoga classes, "I've never felt more at home in a yoga class."💚💚💚
All of this to say, THANK YOU for flowing with us today. We are not perfect nor do we strive to be. But we are always here for you and we are so glad you were here for us today!
And yes that is Forrest trying to drink peanut butter. Turns out the empty peanut butter jar isn't just entertaining for your pup but also might buy you 30 minutes of entertained baby.

At yoga yesterday it was decided we need a fall round of VerMamas 2.0. That transition from 1 to 2 is so extremely different than 0 to 1: so much easier in some ways and wildly hard in others. We hope you join us! Drop a 🙋♀️ in comments if you want to get on our waitlist!
Likely starting October (going off a short poll at yoga yesterday🥰)

“But what if my baby cries/poops/shrieks/nurses all class?”
Yes. Your baby will be a baby at our yoga classes. And👏we👏are👏 here👏for👏 it 👏all! Because what’s the alternative? Not doing yoga postpartum. Not being in community and getting out of the house. Ew.
If you’ve been scared to come to yoga with your baby for fear that your baby will be a baby, let this week be the week you give it a shot. Best case? You get to do yoga with your baby! Worst case? You get to do yoga with your baby & maybe they cried a little.
Like this post if your baby ever cried/pooped/nursed/chatted during a yoga class so we can make it less scary! It’s gonna happen and it’s gonna be great❤️✨

I told my pelvic floor therapist .pelvicpt I wanted to focus on internal rotation every day of my pregnancy so I didn’t have to push for 3 hours again & I pushed for maybe 20 minutes with my second. Was it just because it was my second birth it was so fast? Maybe. Was it the internal rotation? Maybe. Do I feel like I played an active role in how my birth unfolded? Absolutely!
✨You can’t plan a birth but you can prepare.✨
How are you preparing for birth? We’d love to hear 🫶🫶

at GROW we respect your choices! We do not believe breast is best: its your baby, the way you are choosing to feed them in perfect. We do not shame parents for doing cry it out or not doing cry it out. We love that some babies follow strict schedules & some babies go with the flow (or rather set the flow).
Where we do have a strong is opinion is that however you are moving through your parenting journey, you cannot do this alone.
And it's 2025 and our village looks really different than it did 100 years ago. Most of us don't live with grandparents, have huge family support, or have those neighbors that stop by unannounced with the lasagna anymore. SO we adapt. We make our village. We intentionally find the people who want to celebrate your babies 1/2 bday and, maybe more importantly, want to be there for you when it's hard.
Shout out to this VerMamas alumni crew for truly capturing the WHY behind what we are doing here at GROW. Welcome to village parenting, we are so glad you are here 💚😘
