As the weather gets colder, it’s so natural for our bodies to curl in; shoulders rounding, chest closing, everything drawing inward to stay warm.
But over time, that protective posture can leave us feeling tight, heavy, and a little disconnected.
Yoga invites us to do the opposite.
It reminds us to open… even when the world outside feels chilly and tense.
Heart-opening shapes and mindful breathing help us soften the front body, lift the chest, and reconnect with the warmth that’s already inside us.
On your mat, you get to counter the cold by expanding, lifting, and creating space again.
Each breath becomes a little reminder:
You don’t have to close off. You can stay open.
