Empowering community-based innovation: yesterday at the State House, Massachusetts hospitals stood together to advocate for continued support of Hospital at Home and Mobile Integrated Health programs — innovative care models that deliver high-quality care in patients’ homes while reducing avoidable emergency department use and larger healthcare costs.

Thank you to our legislative partners, including Chairs John Lawn, Daniel Donahue, and Michael Finn, for championing these innovative programs so they have the adequate insurance support they need to survive and expand.

On Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day (March 11), we’re proud to celebrate the dedicated registered dietitians (RDs) who support patients and families across South Shore Health!

We have RDs at South Shore Hospital, the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health, and South Shore VNA.

Through their expertise in nutrition and compassionate guidance, they play a vital role in healing, recovery, and long-term wellness.

From helping patients manage complex medical conditions to supporting healthy lifestyles in our community, we thank our dietitians for the knowledge, care, and partnership they bring to every patient interaction.

Together with our legislative partners and the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, local hospitals held a State House session today on the vital importance of the 340B drug pricing program. 340B is a lifeline that makes care services possible for safety net providers and their patients — and it is now facing threats at both the state and federal level.

Thanks to the expert speakers who joined us, and for the legislators and staff who showed up to help support hospitals, community health centers, and the people they serve!
