A local man had a heart attack on the Fourth of July. Our Emergency Department team saved his life. ❤️

To honor their quick action and teamwork, our ED team received special pins—an Emerson tradition recognizing lifesaving care.

These pins are more than just a symbol. They represent what happens when a hospital is ready, a team is prepared, and top-level care is just around the corner.

To our ED staff: thank you for being there when it matters most. 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for MHA's fourth annual Workforce Summit! We were thrilled to bring together healthcare leaders, state officials, educators, and workforce partners from across the commonwealth for a day grounded in collaboration, creativity, and real-world problem solving.

At a time when the healthcare sector continues to face urgent workforce challenges, Massachusetts is continuing to lead.

Tufts Medicine's Michael Dandorph said it best: "What makes Massachusetts different isn’t that we don’t face the same pressures as the rest of the country—we do. It’s that we face them together. We don’t just talk about the problems; we act to solve them."
