I did a LOT of yard work today and officially conquered my irrational fear of the riding mower tipping over on me. 😂
(It wasn’t even close, but man did it feel like it.)

After all of that, I sat outside and finished Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman. I’ve now read the first three books in the series and honestly…SO good.

And wow was I shocked.

The book version of Practical Magic is SO much darker than the movie. If it weren’t for a few iconic lines they kept in the film, I honestly wouldn’t have thought they were the same story at all.

I loved it though. Such a good read.

Now I need to read the final book in the series since it’s the premise for Practical Magic 2 coming out in September — and I have a feeling I’m not going to be disappointed.
