✨ Reiki for Littles – Where Bravery Lives ✨
Sometimes the bravest hearts are the smallest ones.
When children come in for Reiki, they don’t always know what to expect. New spaces can feel big. Big feelings can feel even bigger. My first and only goal is always the same — to make them feel safe, seen, and completely at ease.
On our Bravery Shelf live a few very special friends — Buckbeak, a Gryffindor, a Hufflepuff, and yes… even a Slytherin.
They are not just plush companions… they are “in training.”
If a child feels nervous, they choose the one that feels right to them. That friend snuggles with them during their session, holding courage and calm. Sometimes, together, we gently cleanse it — adding intention, light, and just a little extra magick with a sparkly wand and a fairy bell.
If the child needs it, the stuffie goes home with them.
It becomes their bravery buddy.
It settles in beside them each night, tucked into blankets and small arms, holding bravery while they drift to sleep.
It reminds them they are safe.
It helps them sleep in their own room.
It encourages them to talk about what feels heavy in their little world.
At their next appointment, the stuffie comes back with them.
If needed, we cleanse again — a little more light, a little more strength.
And when the child no longer feels they need their bravery buddy, we hold a sweet ceremony with crystals and intention. We thank it for its work. We gently clear it. And it returns to the shelf… ready for the next small soul who needs courage.
Reiki is for everyone.
For littles, it is gentle.
It is empowering.
It is calming.
It teaches them that their feelings are safe to feel.
Because bravery doesn’t always roar like a Gryffindor.
Sometimes it thinks like a Ravenclaw.
Sometimes it loves like a Hufflepuff.
Sometimes it protects itself like a Slytherin.
And sometimes… it begins with feathers, a sparkly wand, and the reminder that they were brave all along. 🪄✨
If you have a little one navigating stress, transitions, anxiety, or big emotions in a small body, I am always honored to hold space for them.
Because courage can be practiced.
And sometimes… it snuggles back.
