What a toe-tappin’ treat!

Today we were lucky to have Tod, a talented local musician, come in and perform for us—and he brought the house down! Our residents clapped, sang along, and even cheered for an encore. The highlight? Ginny stole the show when she got up to sing her favorite song and danced with Tod to “Hey Good Lookin’”!

Thank you, Tod, for bringing so much joy and music to our day!

Happy Gorgeous Grandma Day!

Today we celebrated the beauty, wisdom, and sparkle of our fabulous residents with a little extra glamour! A huge thank you to the incredibly talented local photographer, Kalista, who came in to capture the magic. Our residents were glowing, and we can’t wait to see how the photos turned out!

From garden to table—with a little love in between!

Residents Emory and Janet rolled up their sleeves and helped bake the most delicious zucchini bread, using fresh zucchini straight from the garden! The smell of warm spices and fresh-baked goodness filled the air—and so did the smiles.

Nothing beats the taste of homemade, especially when it’s made with care (and homegrown veggies)!

Giddy up! Our Barrel Racing Happy Hour was a rootin’-tootin’ good time filled with drinks, laughter, and a whole lot of horsin’ around! Residents and staff took turns “barrel racing” with our trusty steeds (yes, we had horses!), showing off their rodeo skills and competitive spirit.

The highlight? Our very own Resident Rodeo Queen, Carole, making her grand rounds through the courtyard—lightup cowboy hat, sass, and all!

Cheers to another unforgettable afternoon at the corral!

A big thank you to Carole and Jane for turning a generous flower donation into stunning arrangements that brought so much joy to our community!

The vibrant zinnias, lovingly donated by a family member, added a beautiful pop of color and warmth to our spaces. We’re so grateful for the kindness, creativity, and care that went into every bouquet!

Who says exercise can’t be fun? Our residents got moving and laughing today with a lively game of balloon volleyball!

It’s the perfect way to stay active, boost coordination, and share a whole lot of smiles. The competitive spirit was high—but the balloons stayed higher!

This week, Emory, Beverly, and Dale tried a true Southern summer classic—Fried Green Tomatoes!

Beverly was very skeptical at first (goat cheese on fried tomatoes??), but after one bite… she was hooked!
Crispy, tangy, creamy—it's safe to say this dish turned out to be a surprise hit for the whole crew.
