The name of the green on these walls is "Haven."

It's symbolic of this safe space, where you can say, or not say, anything at all; be whoever you are; feel whatever you feel - and know you won't be judged.

I had an incredible experience with a client last week. She was feeling overwhelmed by certain life situations and began to cry uncontrollably on the table. I was so honored that she trusted me that much to be vulnerable and let the body let go.

It's taken some [internal] work, and I'm finally starting to see myself as a powerful healer. I used to say I "stumbled" into this career path, yet I believe there are no coincidences, and I am really gosh darn good at this.

You don't need to "earn" a massage - you are whole, you are enough. The simple fact that you exist entitles you to caring for yourself. Touch is one of our basic human needs - it reduces stress and anxiety, releases oxytocin (the "happy" hormone), and even helps to regulate our sleep.

During your next massage (with me or anyone), try bringing your awareness to the present moment - really notice where the therapist's hands are, which muscles they're touching, feel the warmth and texture of the linens on your skin, listen to the soft, calming music in the room, and breathe slowly. Just, be.

I've been a massage therapist since 2014. I've been a massage instructor, a manager at more than one massage studio, and an employee at a handful of local and reputable spas. Many doors have opened through this career, and my love for it took me by surprise. I love using a variety of techniques to create the perfect session for you in the moment.
If you get a massage with me, you are guaranteed never to get the same one again. I'll meet you wherever you're at. 3 days after last year's fair, I gave my notice at a franchise massage company. one year later, I'm a vendor representing my own business!! it was a completely different experience being there for myself. it was so humbling to see familiar faces - and be recognized! - and to have a need for a waiting list for the chair massages I was offering. already excited for the next event 🙌
