Wearing contacts? Here are a few simple habits that can help keep your eyes healthy and your lenses comfortable:
🖐️ Always wash and dry your hands before handling lenses.
❌ Use fresh contact solution every time and never top off old solution. 💧 Clean your case regularly and replace it every 1-3 months.
💤 Never sleep in your lenses unless your doctor says it's okay.

👨⚕️ Doctor Spotlight: Dr. Brandon Begotka 👁️
We're proud to shine the spotlight on Dr. Brandon Begotka — a dedicated optometrist, vision therapy expert, and all-around incredible member of our Family Vision team.
Dr. Begotka graduated with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2009 and was named Young Optometrist of the Year by the Wisconsin Optometric Association just a few years later. He’s board certified in vision development and therapy and has even lectured at national conferences on the subject.
When he’s not helping patients see more clearly, you can find him exploring the outdoors with his wife, Tammie, and their three boys — whether it’s fishing, hunting, boating, or simply enjoying time together in the Waterford community.
We’re lucky to have Dr. Begotka on our team — and even luckier to share him with the patients he cares so deeply about. 💙

Your sunglasses have been working hard all summer, so here's some simple tips on how to keep them clean and tidy:
💧 Rinse with lukewarm water to remove dust and debris. 🫧 Use a lens-safe cleaner or a drop of mild dish soap.
❌ Wipe with a microfiber cloth and never with your shirt or paper towels.
🕶️ Store in case when not in use to prevent scratches.
