We continue to invest in the areas of diabetes, infectious disease, coagulation, diagnostic enzymes and automated systems, and have a leading position as a provider of rapid tests in the US and high throughput coagulation systems in Japan. Our workforce spans six sites located in four countries. We are a sister company to SEKISUI Medical in Japan, making us a worldwide company with R&D and Manufacturing facilities on three continents. We develop, manufacture, and supply billions of tests each year to the global healthcare market through our commercial networks and partners. Our product lines include:

🏆 Celebrating Innovation: SAC Kaizen 2025 Winner! 🏆

On October 22nd, teams from our Prince Edward Island and San Diego sites joined colleagues in Nashville for the 2025 All Sekisui North America Kaizen Competition.

We are proud to announce that the PEI team brought home the trophy for Sekisui Diagnostics!

Kaizen Theme: “Eliminate Drum Waste from the Transfer Process”
• 55% reduction in blue drum usage
• Significant financial savings
• 165 metric tons less plastic waste and 34 metric tons less greenhouse gas emissions
The team will represent us at the Sekisui Chemical Group Global Kaizen event in Japan this January, competing for the global title.

We have a history of innovation which includes, the first homogeneous test for LDL and the first plastic vacuum blood collection tube. We continue to invest in the areas of diabetes, infectious disease, coagulation, diagnostic enzymes and automated systems, and have a leading position as a provider of rapid tests in the US and high throughput coagulation systems in Japan.

Our workforce includes ~450 employees, in six sites located in four countries. We are a sister company to Sekisui Medical in Japan and in China, making us a worldwide company with R&D and Manufacturing facilities on three continents.
