A stye is a small, painful bump on the eyelid, usually near the eyelashes and usually is related to eyelid hygiene. Be sure to regularly clean your eyelids before bedtime, especially if you wear eye makeup. This can help reduce the chances of getting a stye. Styes usually resolve on their own, but to help the healing process, use warm compresses for 15-20 minutes 3-4 times daily. If a stye persists or is especially painful, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
