We are proud to partner with the B.A.A. in hosting the first-ever Sensory-Friendly Viewing Zone at this year’s Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America.
The Sensory-Friendly Viewing Zone at mile 13.5, thanks to the Town of Wellesley, MA, is a dedicated space for individuals who prefer a quieter, less crowded environment to experience the race. This inclusive area welcomes those with autism, disabilities, or sensory needs—because everyone deserves to enjoy the magic of !
To respect the people with sensory needs, we ask that the Sensory-Friendly Viewing Zone:
🔹 No loud cheering
🔹 No noisemakers (cowbells, horns, etc.)
🔹 Respect the calm atmosphere
All behaviors and stims are welcome here. Thank you for helping us make the Boston Marathon accessible for all! 🏅
