University of Vermont-Graduate Counseling Program The University of Vermont- Graduate Counseling Program has two CACREP Accredited Tracks (Clinical Mental Health [60 Credits] & School Counseling [60 Credits]).

The University of Vermont Graduate Counseling Program is designed to prepare students with the professional knowledge and skills they need to act as facilitators of change and growth for individuals, groups, and organizations. Counseling Program graduates receive a Master of Science degree and are prepared to work as professional counselors in a wide variety of settings.The Clinical Mental Health (60Credits) and School Counseling tracks (48Credits) of the UVM Counseling Program are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), the national accrediting body for counselor education programs. Our College is also accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
