HooRay! It's the first of May!

With warmer temperatures and sunny days ahead, be careful hiking this time of year due to slippery conditions and loose debris on trails.
Make sure you are wearing supportive footwear with good traction and pay attention to where you are stepping.
If you do twist or sprain your ankle and it hurts to put weight on it, you should turn around and when you are able to, elevate it and ice it and put on a compression sleeve if you have one.
If you are still having a lot of pain after several days, it may be a good idea to make an appointment with your doctor or physical therapist to get it checked out so you can get back on the trails!

Happy Hiking!
