✨The age of drought 🌞 🌵 is upon us… these images may not tell said story immediately; yet, if you know NE / VT autumn 🍂 🍃 u can see 👁️ the colors 🌈 aren’t as bright, can 👁️ the water 💦 line feet ⬇️ the average exposing landmasses as yet unseen for decades.

✨The water 💦 wars have been raging since I was a child as my mother taught me it would be the biggest war 💥 of our lifetimes… Companies like Nestle & countries like China have been buying up our collective water wells… for Water Is Life ✊🏾 ✨Today, Indigenous People’s day, marks the celebration of cultures that know how to & practice living sustainably w that which gives us all life 🌍 a perspective that grounds us together vs separating us into competitive hierarchies… Western-European / 🇺🇸 hierarchies of perspective divide & distract us to the point where people actually believe their skin tone, clothing, height, languages spoken, etc have anything to do w being a person of value.

✨Today, 1,000’s are in the streets standing up to such childish stereotypes that ONLY cause harm, the actual pathological violence the 🇺🇸 perpetrates on its people & the 🌎 all done w & by the support of those being harmed. ✨May these images🍃 🌈🍁inspire some part of you to see where you can stand up to predators & recognize you are no better than another & we all need to participate in individual & collective care. None of us exist alone & None of us is more important than another.

Today is one of my Littles’ birthday’s 🌟… I often think about my mother on this day as when the little was born 17 yrs ago she expressed relief that the date was the 12th vs the 11th as it was a long labor / delivery🙏🏽. I think of the associations evoked by dates, times, colors, shapes, & natural designs🦚

I think of in-between times & spaces, of unknown manifestations evoked by memory… of lived experiences seeking application towards transformation. Yet, what allows for change is holding knowledge of potential lightly while new combinations of skills, desires, inner world parts, & information commingle to create something New 🦋

How do / can we birth anew? What does psychological midwifery look & feel like? How to work w innate tension in a safe manner?

These natural in-between times ~ dusk & dawn ~ teach us about slowing down enough to learn about & meet the subtle shifts & changes, the subtle growth from blending, the subtly of expanses that burst 💥 alive, anew, & then close inward 🕳️, contained for the next becoming.

Birthdays are such in-between times; when one’s life is marked w a definitive before & after… when associations from external sources can color your experience different.
Yet, the life is still yours to live; yours to keep close & decide what to create & become…

You know how I just wasn’t connecting to my creative self for yrs… Recently, I joined a ceramics class, but I was just making these small ceramic pieces that didn’t speak to me. Then, one day I was thinking about something you said about the creative process as a portal/bridge between & then I just started focusing on You & then the words associated w you ‘Depth… Surface Depth, Depth Psychology… Depth’ and suddenly I realized I was creating this piece & this piece was you / for you… and I realized I felt the creative flow again & it hasn’t turned off since.”🙏🏽
