White Oak of Burlington provides long term nursing care and short term rehabilitation a short distan

White Oak of Burlington is a 160 bed skilled nursing center conveniently located within a short drive from Alamance Regional Medical Center. We provide long term nursing care, as well as short term rehabilitation. Additionally, we offer independent living apartments at Oak Creek. Nursing care is provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants 24-hours a day. Our interdisciplinary team develops an appropriate plan of care for each individual in coordination with the physician’s orders. The service of White Oak of Burlington is more than caring for immediate physical or medical needs. Through understanding, compassion, professionalism and respect, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each individual.

These beautiful Christmas window paintings were hand-painted by one of our dedicated CNAs, and they’ve brought so much joy, color, and holiday cheer to our community. Our residents and team have loved seeing the season come to life through her creativity.

We’re so grateful for caregivers who go above and beyond — caring for our residents with compassion and sharing their gifts in such meaningful ways. ❤️

This week is Long Term Care Administrator’s Week, where we honor and celebrate the important role administrators have in providing leadership for the delivery of quality, resident-centered care and a supportive work environment.
Our administrators are key players in the care team and are entrusted with the responsibility of managing the care of our loved ones. They touch the lives of residents and families, and, most importantly, ensure that our staff provides the highest level of quality care to a vulnerable population. What an honor and what a gift for White Oak to have such incredible people in these roles!

We have had a great week celebrating National Nursing Home week! Our residents enjoyed playing games outside, our social worker Niozjia Hoover was awarded first place during Tacky Day, and we paid tribute to the fashions from the 80's while enjoying ice cream from Smitty's!
