This is a hard one for me! To even type this and stare at my son puts tears in my eyes!
I asked Manny since he was little about football, and he showed zero interest! After baseball this year, his team asked him to go to camp for football, and he said he wanted to! I was kinda shocked!
Today is the first time I've ever seen my son in pads and uniform! It's kinda surreal, almost as if im seeing myself back when I was 7 years old!!! Brings back memories and how life passes by so fast!
I played football and baseball my whole life, and i was never the best, but I did love sports, and sports taught me discipline...hustle...being a team player and just life skills along the way!!!
Regardless if he loves football or any sport I support any kid who tries and im excited to see all the young boys play this season because im a firm believer these are life lessons you learn that carry with you the rest of your life 💯
Manny, i love you son....you make me so proud, and even when days are hard, I will always tell you how much I love you. Keep striving son you are gonna do such big things ❤️ and remember Dad has your back always 👊
