Dear Residents and Families,

Grace Manor Care Center is pleased to announce that we are now using an automated system to send updates to our resident family members. This will enable us to immediately notify you right away if there is any facility updates, a power outage, or emergency situation. We can also send regular updates, let you know of special events, care conferences and much more.

This new service will allow our staff to spend more time focusing on providing direct care for your loved ones.

Look what we grew in our garden! Betty Lee Hitchcock has been instrumental in keeping us with this garden. She tries to get out there every morning (and usually every day does) and gets things watered, weeds pulled, etc with the help of her caregivers. It's a great hobby for these ladies!

You may start seeing some new, but very familiar faces in our nursing department!

Naidelin Estrada & Itzel Perez, were previously CNAs in the facility while they attended and graduated from Idalia High School. Just recently both of these incredible girls received their LPN license in June 2025 through Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas while still managing to work as CNAs here at our facility during their breaks from school. Both of these girls are training as Charge Nurses on the floor here last week and this week.

We are SO excited to see the evolution of these ladies and will continue to support them in their future endeavors to further their nursing careers!

If you happen to see these ladies, please give them a HUGE congratulations and give them some encouraging words!
