MLD is an amazing modality and I really didn’t go into all of it and how amazing it is. But I did my best to stay high level. If you’re dealing with edema, lymphedema or lipoedema please let me know. I can totally help you! I’m sorry that I didn’t go more into the pathology of what lymphedema is or how the lymphatic system works or its functions, but if you’re curious just ask me!

Summer Special through September

ALL FIRST RESPONDERS & SPECIAL OPERATIONS - Pay what you can. No questions asked. No expectations. Just therapy.
You will still have to schedule just due to my existing client & patient load.
I am happy to serve you, just as you have and are serving our community during our time of need.
Our bodies take a toll during times like these, not just from physical exertion but also from staying in the sympathetic nervous system state aka “trauma” and the way it stores in our bodies.
Let me help you with your physical injuries and sympathetic nervous system overdrive so that you can continue to be able to give & be your best!

Text me at 720-355-5580 to schedule.
Please be patient w/ my response times. My phone stays on do not disturb most all day while I am in therapy. I respond when im done with therapy at the end of the day.

Thank you,
Kyleigh

Officially ADA (Americans w Disabilities) Compliant and very proud of it! Wheelchair friendly, Crutch friendly, Post-Op friendly & so happy to finally be able to open my space to my beloved medically compromised community! This now allows me to work more during the day. In the past I have always done out calls for individuals with accessibility issues & it was never a problem, but did take time to drive and set up/break down! Now I can just turn and burn through the day - getting to help more people! Thank you, Bruce Barnet for the great Photo of me and Shan

I just wanted to share some newish data from 2023. The data gives a clear picture of how many actively licensed massage therapists there are in the United States and also how many in each state. And the data is not good….Not good at all. In the entire United States there were 321,493 active license holders in 2023…..that is not good. In the state of Texas there were 27,470 active license holders in 2023. It’s worth pointing out that just because someone has an active license doesn’t mean that they are working in the field or using their license. So the estimate is that the numbers are actually lower. So when you try to book the same day with a LMT and they are booked 3-4 weeks out, it is not because we are lazy or don’t want to work. It is because we legitimately are fully booked out. We are under immense pressure & the demand is incredibly high. My clients know they need to book 2 months out if they want to stay on my schedule at their preferred spot. Just today I had someone book for the next three months to ensure she was on the schedule.
So please have mercy on your licensed Massage therapist. We are giving everything we have to give to our clients. Often times we are injured and we are battling through our own injuries every single day in order to help people deal with their pain. There are so few of us and the demand is so high. If you have an LMT, let them know that you appreciate them. Let them know how excited you are for your appointment! Pay them well! Hold onto them tight and never let go. If you fall off their schedule, give them grace while you wait to get on the schedule again. We love you so much that we are happy to push through our pain and sacrifice our bodies every day to help you heal yours. 💙

Based on the work conducted for our 2023 process, ABMP estimates the number of massage therapists in the United States at approximately 321,493, which is down from the height of 2019’s estimate of 334,221.

Tibialis Anterior! The name says It all. Its location is on the anterior portion of the Tibia 😂
I’ve worked two Tibialis Anterior injuries in two weeks. That’s pretty rare. So I figured I’d share a little about Tibialis Anterior. It’s worth noting that often times when people are experiencing “shin splints” what they are actually experiencing is an extremely contracted Tibialis Anterior. Which was exactly the case in both of these patients. I hope this helps! Of course this is no substitute for medical guidance. Please consult with your physician! Love y’all! Peace ✌️

I’ve been trying to do this video for a little while. The first time I made it I misspoke on a couple things and it bothered me so I deleted it and redid it. 🤣 I hope this video brings a little clarity on the differences between strains and sprains. I hear those terms used interchangeably all the time, but they aren’t the same. I hope this helps educate and makes you feel more empowered in your body! Love y’all 💙

Most therapists don’t care that you see other therapists when you can’t get in with us 🤣 or even if you feel another, therapist is a better fit for you and you leave for them completely. There is nothing personal about it at all. We all have different styles, strengths and specialties and you need to work with the therapist you feel is best for your body. If your therapist is offended that you have more than one of us in your arsenal; maybe think about another therapist that is more secure and comfortable in themselves and their therapy style.

Some info on Kyphosis!!! Or hunchback of Notre Dame Syndrome….Just kidding that’s not a real name and I just made that up because it reminds me of the Disney show hunchback of Notre Dame 😂. Kyphosis is an exaggerated thoracic spine, most commonly caused from poor posture. You can learn more about kyphosis in this video or ask me for some resources. I love a good posture corrector, as well as working on our posture to correct it long-term. Enjoy!!!!

Oh my holy hardware!!!!! 😱😱😱
Yes, massage and hardware can coexist! Of course everyone and every situation is different. But therapy can be beneficial depending on your context! It’s worth contacting a therapist who works with scar tissue and medical massage to see if we can help your soft tissue recover! Below you will see screws, a hip replacement, a plate, a rod for a femur, and a piece of hardware for the tibial plateau. All these are major surgeries that are required for the individual to live a healthy life; and they do leave major scar tissue as well as soft tissue damage. Most of these surgeries require Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy for individuals to fully recover. 💙 It is very important to find harmony and ways to coexist with these new additions to your body. Adding in Massage Therapy can sometimes become a lifestyle change post-surgical due to muscle and soft tissue impact from the new neighbors. 💙

I did a video on DVT awareness awhile back. This is a great resource regarding blood clots & Deep Vein Thrombosis that I came across. Together we can all become more aware and prevent deaths in our community and in people we love and care about. 💙
