I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for all the love and support shown since the flooding.

🎉 Happy birthday celebration for these three amazing ladies! Their special day was in July, but we missed out on celebrating due to the flooding. Today, we’re making up for it and honoring them in style. Cheers to friendship and good times, chicken fried steak and famous Pigg pie! And many more to Carolyn, Karen, and Lanita❤️

Pafford Place praise and progress. I haven’t done a post in a bit. There is nothing really that has changed. We are still just in a holding pattern of waiting… waiting for Insurance, waiting for SBA, waiting for FEMA, waiting for the relinquishment to work its way through the State, waiting for answered prayers… just waiting, waiting patiently to see what our future holds. Please just keep praying for answers while we wait. -Heather

Here’s a story that will melt your heart…. These two residents were strangers when they became neighbors at Wildflower Meadows. Soon they became best friends then when the July 5 floods came their cottages were under water so they were displaced to the same Assisted Living. Here they supported each other through some tough times, kept each other company, and met each others families. When the renovation at Wildflower Meadows was completed they decided to be forever companions and share a cottage. Moral of the story is you’re never too old, not even at 95, to need a best friend to help you through the tough times and celebrate the good times Second moral of the story is Wildflower Meadows has a 2 bedroom vacancy ready for move in and you won’t find better neighbors. If you, or someone you know, needs a great place to call home get in touch with me (I will also be posting an ad)
