Alliant Behavioral Pediatrics (ABP) specializes in the treatment of typical and atypical developing children (ages 12 and under) with Autism or disruptive problem behavior using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) that emphasizes Skinner's analysis of Verbal Behavior. MISSION
ABP believes each child has a right to the most effective, research-based, behavior therapy interventions available. Our missio
n is to help each child achieve the highest quality of life and level of independence possible in all settings through individualized, ethical, high quality and research-based ABA therapy practices. PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Active parent and other direct caregiver involvement is a necessary component in the success of a child's behavior therapy program and the fulfillment of ABP's mission. ABP strives to establish a close and collaborative relationship with parents to promote a cohesive, strong, treatment team. Through parent training, ABP equips parents with the tools, skills and knowledge necessary to be even more effective agents of change. COLLABORATION WITH OTHER PROFESSIONALS
ABP employs a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment and routinely works in collaboration with other professionals and caregivers, such as daycare and school staff, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and speech and occupational therapists, to include all the necessary treatment components to effectively address a child's treatment needs.
