The key to keeping your new years resolutions is setting them with intention — and only setting a few, or even just one! Keep the list small and manageable. And instead of restricting activities, think about creating new habits that bring you joy.
Nature immersion: The Twin Cities are far from lacking in natural beauty, so perhaps you'll want to take in some more of it this year — even if it means visiting just one new place.
Fun food add-ins: Try that new restaurant in your neighborhood, or try making that favorite dish at your favorite restaurant at home — you may end up unlocking that inner master chef and feel inspired to be more adventurous in the kitchen.
Mood-boosting media: Start your day with a joyful playlist, or make time to screen feel-good movies with your family or best friends once a month.
Digital detox: Give yourself a set amount of time every day to leave your phone / laptop / tablet in another room and walk away. Maybe combine this with a nature adventure outside!
Again, your list of resolutions doesn't have to be extensive. Vogue simply recommends you approach making it like Bill Murray from "What About Bob": take baby steps.
