One of the more dangerous feelings walking through adult life is the feeling that we need to "Find a place to fit in". This feeling is an illusion that exists as we are growing up. It is also an instinct. Yet, we see this instinct doing harm in a lot of ways. People repeat the same relationship errors, employment errors, errors using resources and time errors over and over based on trying to "Prove they fit in" or replacing their family of origin.

One of the most positive things you can do for yourself is to absolutely focus on your outcomes. You can look at life skills and emotional security skills and strategies like a list that you can learn.
