Our recent Hawk's group got grounded in gratitude. Our Hawk's social skills crew came together to build a giant "Thankful Pie." They shared who and what they appreciate, as well as support one another throughout the process. It was thoughtful, heartfelt, and full of moments where our kiddos took pride in being part of something together.

Skills we focused on:

🟤 listening with care
🟤 encouraging peers
🟤 taking turns respectfully

Today, we pause to honor those who have served Thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and commitment. Your service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off, and neither should your care.

At Restoring Wellness Clinical Services, we recognize the mental and emotional load that can come with military life and the transition back to civilian life. This Veterans Day, we encourage all veterans to take a moment for intentional self-care:

Check in with yourself - Notice what emotions are present without judgment.
Stay connected - Reach out to trusted friends, family, or veteran support groups.
Ground yourself - Spend time in nature or practice mindful breathing to calm your system.
