Well, Eliza Cole, reflexologist, holistic counselor, and a graduate of NITE naturopathic school here in Michigan, will be making herself available here at Ojibwa this Friday, July 11th. ROC Certified. Have you heard of it? If not, it's definitely time to!

This is just one example showing the growing interest in ROC Certified products, whether in spices, foods, or supplements. It's no wonder more people are asking for it.

With the continued on-and-off rainstorms we've been getting and will get more of next week, we hope you all stay safe on the roads and check your routes before venturing out. This morning there were multiple crashes, as well as flooding, in addition to construction lane closures that already slow down traffic, along I75 in Flint. One of our openers was a few minutes late due to this.

It is also supposed to be very hot and humid over the next several days. We hope everyone stays well hydrated, as well! It's a good idea to keep extra water with you in glass or stainless steel bottles to prevent plastic-leakage inside hot car temperatures. We have Goldthread Green Minerals tonic drinks, mineral spring waters, natural electrolyte drinks, and electrolyte powders and drops if you need the extra boost.

The staff here all love animals, also, so don't leave your fur babies in the car. Bring them in with you if you're going to shop a while.

Cheers to the start of summer. Let's be smart about the weather, conscious of our well-being, and have plenty of fun.

We know many of you are without power still in the surrounding area. We are fortunate to have power here in the vicinity of Center Road, Burton, MI. Feel free to stop in if you need anything in the way of vitamins, herbal supplements, teas, skincare items, pet supplements and pet food, or even just a beverage, a snack, and QuickEats Meal Prep grab-n-go.

Tip of the day: Even without power, you can still steep your teas; you're just going to want to do it for a longer period than normal. Or, you can place in the sunlight and create a sun-tea. 😁

Keep following us on Facebook for updates about events and hours. Our area here in Genesee Country is under a winter advisory and storm watch that will go through tomorrow. It's predicted we'll get anything from just a couple inches of snow, to nine+ inches, with ice always a potential issue. If we close early today, or open late tomorrow, we will post it on here and update you all. Appreciate you all shopping local with us, and it's okay if you have to delay your visit until road conditions are better for you!
