Walking through the front doors of Burton Health Care Center, visitors soon discover the true definition of "home away from home." Just minutes from Middlefield and Chardon, when you come to visit Burton Health Care, just opening the doors allows the warm country atmosphere to pull you in. The comfortable chairs around the fireplace, the gentle sounds from the grandfather clock, the photo album on the table with pictures of our families' memories, all contribute to the relaxed feeling of being close to home. Burton Health Care Center also provides a Short Term Therapy Unit. Located within our home, we have dedicated a wing solely for those in need of short term therapy. We can provide post surgical care for many orthopedic procedures such as hip/knee replacements, rotator cuff surgeries and fractures. In addition to general orthopedic care we also provided extended medical care, wound care, and cardio/pulmonary rehabilitation. Our goal is to return patients to their normal living environment as soon as possible.

YOU scream, WE scream, we ALL scream for ICE CREAM! 🍦
Today the residents of Burton Health Care Center enjoyed a sweet little adventure with an outing to Cowboy Creamery in Middlefield and boy was it DELICIOUS!
From classic favorites to unique creations, there were lots of smiles, laughter even a few extra sprinkles on top.
We love creating moments that are full of joy and especially sweet treats & today was a perfect reminder that life is better with ice cream and special friends to share it with.

Burton Health Care knows how to celebrate Valentine’s Day! 💕
Our Valentine’s Day Party was filled with live music that had feet tapping, hands clapping, and a few sweet dance moves.
The smiles were nonstop & lit up the whole diningroom.
Residents enjoyed delicious Valentine’s Day treats and the highlight of the party was the crowning of our Valentine’s Royal Court! Congratulations to our King, Queen, Prince, and Princess.
Today, was more than just a party it was an afternoon full of beautiful moments shared together.

Bold Flavors on a Chilly Winter Day!
Tonight, our residents warmed up with a delicious dinner packed with flavor and comfort!
On the dinner menu:
• Savory Chicken Enchilada Casserole topped with fresh crema & cilantro
• Flavorful Spanish rice
• Warm black bean & corn salsa
• & to finish it off, a rich, sweet caramel tres leches cake.
Every plate was full of homemade goodness & our residents enjoyed every bite.

Last evening after dinner, our residents bundled up & headed out on a festive road trip to Louisville, Ohio to experience a two Holiday Light Shows one from a Veteran owned light show & also Elegant Illusions wow, what a night they had!!
The displays lit up the night and filled our bus with pure excitement.
Along the way, everyone stayed cozy sipping hot cocoa, singing along to holiday music and sharing stories & laughter.
Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the Grinch himself hopped aboard our bus to surprise our residents! The joy, laughter, and priceless smiles said it all.
Moments like these so full of warmth, laughter, and togetherness truly capture the magic of the holiday season.
