Walking through the front doors of Burton Health Care Center, visitors soon discover the true definition of "home away from home." Just minutes from Middlefield and Chardon, when you come to visit Burton Health Care, just opening the doors allows the warm country atmosphere to pull you in. The comfortable chairs around the fireplace, the gentle sounds from the grandfather clock, the photo album on

the table with pictures of our families' memories, all contribute to the relaxed feeling of being close to home. Burton Health Care Center also provides a Short Term Therapy Unit. Located within our home, we have dedicated a wing solely for those in need of short term therapy. We can provide post surgical care for many orthopedic procedures such as hip/knee replacements, rotator cuff surgeries and fractures. In addition to general orthopedic care we also provided extended medical care, wound care, and cardio/pulmonary rehabilitation. Our goal is to return patients to their normal living environment as soon as possible.

Our residents enjoy their time in the garden: planting, watering, and reminiscing.
Gardening not only offers our residents physical and mental wellness but also brings moments of pure joy, purpose, and a touch of nature into their days, and we love watching how thier smiles grow just like the vegetable plants. 🌱 🌿🌱

Burton Health Center's 4th of July festivities were filled with moments of tasty food, and fun activities. 🎆🇺🇸🎇
Our residents enjoyed a morning/early afternoon placing flags around the facility, crafting colorful fireworks at night paintings to decorate their rooms, and enjoyed a cookout-style lunch prepared by the dietary team.

Did someone mention that it's time to indulge in some delicious tea? And isn't wearing a fancy hat the perfect way to add some excitement to the experience? Well, that's what transpired this afternoon as our ladies gathered in our activity room for tea, mini sandwiches, and an assortment of desserts. Everyone was having the best time, The room was full of joy & laughter while reminiscing of past memories. The laughter could be heard as you walked down the hallway.
