Madison Sturgis PA-C, our first physician assistant at ARSWO.

"Madison is a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant who has always had a passion for the field of medicine and helping others. Madison believes it is important to build a partnership with her patients in order to understand their individual needs to help guide them through their care. Madison earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Mount Union and is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Prior to that, she earned her B.S. in Biology at Robert Morris University.



Before transitioning to rheumatology, she worked in otolaryngology surgery, gaining extensive experience in patient care, diagnostic assessments, and team-based approaches to treatment. During her time in ENT, she worked with assorted autoimmune conditions and was introduced to learning more about immunology and biologic medications. This background has provided a strong foundation in the management of complex medical conditions and enhancing the quality of life for patients with chronic rheumatic diseases."
