I want to share a very important part of my story…
the story behind Relaxation Light Massage.
•I am Dominican 🇩🇴, and three years ago I arrived in this country with just one suitcase, leaving behind my family, my culture, and everything I had ever known. I came with a heart full of fear, faith, and a dream called the American Dream. My destination was Ohio, a place where I arrived knowing almost no one.
It wasn’t easy.
There were days of extreme exhaustion, doubt, and silent tears.
But even in my darkest moments, God never left me alone. When I felt like I couldn’t go on, He became my refuge and my strength.
•A few months later, I began studying therapeutic massage, without knowing that it would become one of the best decisions of my life. My days started at 6:00 a.m. and often ended close to 11:00 p.m. I worked without days off, because giving up was never an option, and every day I asked God for the strength to keep going.
•I went through very difficult times…
There was a moment when I was almost homeless.
Yet even with a tired body and a weary soul, I kept going, held up by faith.
•This journey cost me people I once loved, and there came a time when I found myself alone with my daughter. It was just her and me against the world—but with God walking beside us.
•Against all odds, I completed my studies 📖, earned my license, and began giving massages in my living room, because it was all the space I had. Little by little, I grew. I worked for others, and one day, with fear but with even greater faith, I chose to believe in myself and open my own space.Today, Relaxation Light Massage is not just a business.
It is the result of perseverance, discipline, sacrifice, and the faith of an immigrant woman who trusted God and refused to give up.

Quiero compartirles una parte muy importante de mi historia…
la historia detrás de Relaxation Light Massage.
•Soy dominicana 🇩🇴 y hace 3 años llegué a este país con una sola maleta, dejando atrás mi familia, mis costumbres y todo lo que conocía, con el corazón lleno de miedo, fe y un sueño llamado el sueño americano. Mi destino fue Ohio, un lugar al que llegué sin conocer prácticamente a nadie.
•No fue fácil.
Hubo días de cansancio extremo, de dudas y de lágrimas en silencio.
Pero incluso en los momentos más difíciles, Dios nunca me dejó sola. Cuando sentí que no podía más, Él fue mi refugio y mi fortaleza.
•Pocos meses después comencé a estudiar masajes terapéuticos, y sin saberlo, estaba tomando una de las mejores decisiones de mi vida. Mis días comenzaban a las 6 de la mañana y terminaban cerca de las 11 de la noche. Trabajaba sin días libres, porque rendirme no era una opción, y cada día le pedía a Dios fuerzas para seguir adelante.
•Pasé momentos muy duros…
Hubo un tiempo en el que estuve a punto de quedarme en la calle.
Pero aun con el cuerpo agotado y el alma cansada, seguí adelante, sostenida por la fe.
•Este camino me costó personas, y llegó un momento en el que me encontré sola con mi hija. Éramos solo ella y yo contra el mundo, pero con Dios caminando a nuestro lado.
•Con todo en contra, terminé mis estudios 📖, obtuve mi licencia, y comencé dando masajes en la sala de mi casa, porque era lo único que tenía. Poco a poco fui creciendo, trabajé para otras personas y un día, con miedo pero con mucha fe, decidí creer en mí y abrir mi propio espacio.
•Hoy, Relaxation Light Massage no es solo un negocio.
Es el resultado de la perseverancia, la disciplina, los sacrificios y la fe de una mujer inmigrante que confió en Dios y no se rindió.

✨ Los sueños sí se cumplen cuando no te detienes.
✨ Tú eres tu propio destino, y Dios guía tus pasos.
