On September 16th 2024, we sat in a room full of doctors. Right then we got the worst news no parent should ever hear, our fight against our son's cancer was over.

Today September 17th marks the 1 anniversary we lost our son Aiden to pancreatic cancer. As the mins, days, weeks, months went by , there was not a second that we miss our brave courageous child. He never once had a frown on his face but always smiled and thought of his friends before he thought of himself. This pokemon, roblox , video game child took the fight against cancer with a 6 month diagnosis and fought hard for 2 years and was even able to play ball hockey during his fight.

On this day at 6:42 as the sunset, we lost our baby boy. A fitting end for a hero. As Dylan Thomas the poet wrote, " Do go gentle into that good night".

Not a moment goes by that won't dont miss you Aiden Richard. The miracle child with an impossible task.

We love you forever.

Who knew we would never get to sing happy birthday to you again. Who knew when we recorded us singing last year would be the last. Aiden, our son, not day a goes by we wish we could turn the clock back just a little longer to be with you. Not a second, minute, hour, day, and month goes by that we wish you were still here.

This time 12 years ago we were about to welcome you in our arms and you forever changed our lives . You made us parents. Today we honor you. U may not be here to blow your candle out but we will for you. Our son know we will always love you. Just makes sure when it's our time to be the first person at the door waiting for us. Happy heavenly birthday Aiden. Today you would of been 12.

Good morning all! As we remember our beloved Aiden on the 6 month anniversary of his death, we also are dreading this Thursday, March 20 because our angel would have turned 12 years old. To honor him we are celebrating at his graveside and having a birthday party in his memory with his closest family and friends who supported him and all of us in his heroic battle! BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH SOMETHING SPECIAL WE ARE TRYING TO PUT TOGETHER!

In honor of his 12th birthday, we are asking all of our family, friends and supporters to help us out! We are asking that if you personally knew Aiden, if you knew Aiden through his family and friends, if you knew of Aiden's story and followed his page, if you never met him but his strength and story helped you through your own medical or personal struggles, if you just want to wish him a happy heavenly birthday or just want to share your thoughts on his battle with cancer, we need your help!

During his passing and funeral, Mike and I were so overwhelmed by all the stories and things people shared with us from all over the country and world. We were told Aiden was a hero, that he gave several people the courage to continue fighting cancer, that he was so respected in the Pokemon, youtube and hockey community and now it would be nice to be able to put all the stories, pictures and sweet sentiments in a storybook to be able to gift to his grandparents, his brother and sister and ourselves during the next couple months (specifically for Mother's Day and Father's Day).

If you feel compelled to share anything with us about Aiden, his journey or just a happy birthday wish, this is what we need you to do!

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART IS THIS!! PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FIRST NAME AND LOCATION WHERE YOU ARE FROM. We know that this group has a vast range of locations and would love to see just how far Aiden's story has reached!

I want to share an amazing tribute to honor Aiden and his fight against cancer. For those who are familiar National Ball Hockey League is a ball hockey league that has divisions from coast to coast and is expanding leagues into Canada. The top teams in those divisions play in the Mylec Cup held in New Jersey. Last year at the Mylec Cup they honored Aiden. This year they are cementing his legacy. Despite being on extremely hard chemo he still suited up on Wednesday nights after an overnight stay Thursday into Friday. He did this for 2 months straight. All he wanted to do again was play hockey and we didn't hold back from living life to the fullest. We are extremely grateful and appreciative for the NBHL for honoring Aiden. Thank you again Butler Blizzard , NBHL Butler Bantams, Butler Township Dek Hockey for showing the support you guys had for Aiden and his fight against cancer. Headstone update:

From the bottom of our hearts thank you everyone for the help.
It's been a very,very long process with some hiccups. We are possibly looking at fall to have everything installed. The Headstone will have his image engraved on it with a qr code for memories. We are are forever gratetful for everyone's help.
