Welcome to Morse Yoga, a Yoga studio where people of all shapes, sizes, and physical conditions can practice with comfort and ease. We offer classes for Everyone because Yoga is for Everyone. With the right instruction, props and settings everyone can enjoy yoga no matter what your physical condition may be. Our goal is to make Yoga accessible to all in a safe, comforting and positive environment.
Our instructors are all Yoga Alliance Certified. And all of our classes are made to be safe and effective. Class formats include:
Yoga for Beginners (Hatha Yoga):
Class Time: Tuesday & Thursday at 6:00 pm
A great class for people just starting out with Yoga and/or for those that want to come back to the basics and remember the fundamentals of yoga asanas (poses). Mixed Level Vinyasa Flow Yoga:
Class Time: Monday & Wednesday 7:30 pm & Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 am
This is a flowing format where we flow from one pose to the next using our breath to guide us. This is a great class if you are looking for a vigorous yoga workout. This class is for all levels in Yoga from beginner through advanced. Students are given options throughout class (modifications) so that everyone in class can feel successful. Prenatal Yoga:
Class Time: Tuesday at 7:30 pm & Saturday at 12:30 pm
This class is designed for moms 12 weeks and up into their pregnancy (*must have doctor's note before beginning). This is a wonderful way to connect with your baby to be and learn poses that can help alleviate some of the discomforts associated with pregnancy as well as help prepare you for childbirth learning breathing and relaxation techniques to help you through childbirth. Also, students are given asanas (poses) to help them after the baby is born (post natal) to help their body ease back into an every day yoga practice in a gentle manner. Chair Yoga for Everyone:
Class Time: Monday & Wednesday at 9:30 am & 6:00 pm
This is a class designed for students suffering from various physical conditions that may make the student feel he or she can not do yoga due to pain, stiffness or fatigue. This is a gentle class that offers various options for students (props such as chairs, straps, blocks or bolsters are used) to help them find their way. This class is a great way to learn how yoga accommodates us at every stage of life.
