Research shows that putting time and distance between lethal means—such as a firearm or medication—and those who may be in crisis can prevent su***de and save lives. Consider these ways of keeping your home environment safe, especially when a loved one is at risk of su***de.

In 2024 we lost 28 individuals in Butler County to su***de. This evening we remembered them, and others we’ve lost, while coming together as a community to support each other. The mission of the Butler County Su***de Coalition is to reduce su***des through education, resources, and support. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM at Butler County Human Services, 124 W. Diamond St, Butler, Pa 16001. Join us!
