Happy Thursday!!! June is a special month for one of our employees! Sandy has been our insurance coordinator for 25 years!!! As the insurance coordinator, she verifies and authorizes insurance benefits, files and reconciles insurance claims. She also enjoys taking care of the flowers outside the office. When not working, she enjoys hiking in national parks, trying new hobbies, and listening to Yacht Rock. Sandy is married to Kyle, and together they have 3 grown daughters and a cockapoo named Wallace. She is also a Grandma to the orneriest little boys, Sandler and Myles (on the way). One of her favorite memories from working at the office is watching the eclipse with everyone. She also really enjoyed working alongside Dr. Noe because he was a bit of a mischief maker, and she can’t choose just one memory from that time because they are all her favorite. Please help us congratulate Sandy on 25 years of service!

On June 1, 1998, Dr. David Miller and Dr. Susan Miller, optometrists, joined Dr. John Noe’s longstanding practice in Butler, MO to become Drs. Noe, Miller and Miller.

Dr. Stanley Noe started the practice as a sole proprietor in 1949 on the west side of the Butler square. He built a new building in 1960 where the current practice exists. His son, Dr. John Noe, joined Dr. Stanley in 1963. The two practiced together through the mid-1980s until Dr. Stanley’s death. Dr. John continued to practice as a solo provider until Drs. David and Susie joined the practice in 1998. The three practiced together until Dr. John’s retirement after 50 years in practice in 2013.

Both Drs. Miller are graduates of The University of Houston College of Optometry and are VA residency trained in ocular disease management. Dr. David is originally from Manhattan, KS, and Dr. Susan is from Yukon, OK. The doctors see patients of all ages and their scope of practice include ocular disease management of diabetes and glaucoma, surgical co-management of cornea and cataract procedures, treatment of eye injuries, infections and foreign body removal, contact lens fitting as well as primary care optometry. Their office has an optical with a large inventory of frames and contact lenses.
