Real ID experience … driver’s license is expiring and I was required to go in person.(oldphoto)
Could not get an appointment until 7/14.
Went to Oakland DMV. It opens at 8 am. Got there at 7 stood in the non appointment line. (I was about 20th in line.) Walked out at 9:45 with the promise of a real id being sent to me in the mail. Not bad. Just expect to stand and wait.
