As we observe Memorial Day during our nation’s 250th anniversary year, we pause to honor the generations of service members who gave their lives in the defense of our freedoms. For two and a half centuries, Americans have stepped forward with courage, placing duty above self so that our nation might endure and thrive. On Memorial Day, let us remember and honor those who never returned home, and we hold close the families and loved ones who carry their legacy.

At the Butler VA Health Care Center, this day resonates deeply. Our mission is shaped by the sacrifices of those who served, and we are humbled each day by the Veterans and families who entrust us with their care. Their stories remind us that the freedoms we enjoy were secured at great cost.

This form of exercise offers safe, weight-bearing, and resistance-based movements designed to help maintain bone density and support overall bone health.

It’s that time of year again—have you had a chance to plant your garden yet? Our Veteran garden, Homegrown by Heroes, was kicked off last Saturday. A heartfelt thank you to the DAV, Elks, VA Police, VA grounds crew, and our dedicated Veterans for their hard work and support. We also extend our gratitude to Deener's Farm Market for generously donating the seeds for our garden. We’re looking forward to enjoying a bounty of delicious vegetables this summer!
