Dr. Bae graduated from NYU College of Dentistry where she was enrolled in the accelerated 7 year BADDS program. She went on to further her education with a one year general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. Upon completion of her residency program, she was asked to return as an attending faculty at the hospital. She is currently an attending medical staff at Hackensack University Medical Center where she teaches and oversees dental residents. She has also completed the Honors Program in TMJ/Orofacial Clinic while at New York University College of Dentistry. Furthering her interest in the field, she has recently received a Certificate of Completion in Advanced and Comprehensive Program on Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain from Dr. Jeffrey Okeson at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Bae took the Aesthetic Advantage Course with renowned leading cosmetic dentist, Dr. Larry Rosenthal. She also received Associate Fellowship Certification through the World Clinical Laser Institute. She continues to further her knowledge and stay informed of leading-edge technology and procedures by attending numerous continuing education courses throughout the year. Since graduation, Dr. Bae practiced all areas of dentistry as a general dentist in Upstate New York, Northern New Jersey and most recently, in the Financial District in Manhattan. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry currently in the process of obtaining the Fellowship (FAGD) degree.

How shocked does everyone look?! Operation Surprise Team was a big success!

The entire team received a Christmas ornament, some sweet dacquoise, and a very fun surprise gift!

We also celebrated Dr. Bae’s big 40th birthday earlier this week! Did you know our hygienist Pat also makes a mean charcuterie board? One of our lovely patients also baked some cupcakes!

It is always great to go to work when you have a loving work family. We are very thankful to have each other!

If you’ve visited us recently, you would have seen a new product we’ve added during this covid era to minimize aerosol.

It’s called DryShield. It is a little “mermaid tail” that is inserted into the mouth for isolation. It may look intimidating, yet it is surprisingly comfortable even for use in children.

The mouthpiece acts as a “pillow” so you can comfortably rest your teeth on it without forcing your mouth open. The “tail” will retract your cheek. Your tongue and cheek will be protected at all times from the drill. The small holes will suction the water from the drill, providing a nice isolated field and minimizing aerosol.
