🔥 National Fire Prevention Day 🔥
At Big Sky on Waterford, safety is always our top priority — especially when it comes to protecting our residents and team members from fire hazards. Today, we’re sharing a few important fire prevention tips to help keep everyone safe:

🚒 Fire Prevention Tips for Senior Living:

Never leave cooking unattended. Always stay in the kitchen when using the stove or oven.

Check electrical cords regularly for frays or damage — and never overload outlets.

Keep space heaters at least 3 feet away from anything that can burn, and always turn them off when leaving the room.

Avoid open flames. Use flameless candles or electric wax warmers instead.

Know your escape routes. Familiarize yourself with exits and emergency procedures.

Report hazards immediately. If you see something unsafe, say something!

Participate in fire drills and practice calm, quick responses.

Today, our residents, team members, friends from the Butte community, and members of the Catholic churches in town came together to celebrate one of our own—Father Porter. 🙏🎨
Father Porter is not only a beloved resident but also a gifted artist. He graciously allowed us to exhibit his beautiful artwork in one of our dining rooms, turning the space into a gallery filled with creativity and spirit.
We are so blessed to share in his talent and even more grateful for the joy it brought to everyone who attended. 💜
