Not going to lie- chia pudding texture isn’t quite my thing. However, it’s a brilliant idea for on-the-go nutrition, it’s easy, and chia seeds are an alternative to omega-3’s instead of fish (which we all desperately need more of). Decided I need Alice in all of my videos and to do more of the talking. She’s too stinking CUTE!

Protein and Fiber = the best day ever!!

Back to nights and we’re meal prepping!! This is how I prep and eat. I will now have breakfast burritos and enchiladas for the next 3 days. 😂🤷🏼‍♀️😁 Easy, healthy, filling, and tasty. Win/win/win/win.

Brown 1-2 lbs of ground meat with taco seasoning
Add 1-2 cups salsa, a can of black beans.
Roll into shells. Line baking sheet. Top with shredded cheese and enchilada sauce.
Bake for 30 mins at 350.
Food for days!!
*I keep a little Tupperware of ground meat to make meat and cheese tacos for the kids. Side of veggies… dinner is served.

What are we packing tonight?! Protein, vegetables, and supplements!

Salmon from and salad and Thai cauliflower chicken from along with protein coffee to start and adaptogens. Supplements from and for the win before I head home to sleep. 😴

How to show up as your best version at any time of day:

1. Drink water - lots
2. Prioritize protein and vegetables
3. Sleep!
4. Take your supplements 🤓

I couldn’t post yesterday b/c insta and Fb are weird.

BUT! drinkmudwtr is a great start to the daaaaayyy. On the non-night shifts, I’ll drink this without coffee b/c I don’t love being addicted to caffeine or the crash I can get from it at times. But for graveyards- I’m giving it a good go with coffee in my life again! 😝 Sticking to a routine can a lot of times mean repetitive meals. 🙃 but if they are good meals, who cares? Worth the time and energy for me to repeat meals and eat left overs. Cheers to night #3. See ya tomorrow!

Amen. We can hope, wish, even pray for our lives to change in a certain way. But. Until you change your mindset and decide to take action, every day will be as every other day. It is 100% up to you to make a change in your life and to take action. No one is coming to save you or do it for you.

If this is the year you want to get healthy and make some changes, start with your mindset. Quit telling yourself it's too hard, you can't eat only healthy foods, you don't have the discipline to do what others do. Quit allowing your mind to be your limit when the mind is limitless.

It's the first day of winter!! For some this is exciting to have snowflakes, a chill in the air, and a crunch beneath their feet. For others, this is a cold kind of hell. lol.

Like many other people, I enjoy starting new habits on the "first day" of something. A New Year, a birthday, a season... if you could start doing something today to better yourself what would it be? Make it a "SMART" goal. S=Specific. M=Measurable. A=Achievable. R=Realistic. T=Time sensitive.

For example, I want to start doing more activities outside.
This is not specific, time sensitive, or give any kind of guidance or accountability. It's just words. To make it a SMART goal, I need to add some verbiage here:
For the rest of winter, I will go outside at least 3 days a week for at least an hour, either skating, snowshoeing, playing in the snow with my daughter, skiing, walking, hiking. I will write it down and plan my outdoor days in my planner to help me accomplish this goal.
Now, I have a specific timeline that is measurable and realistic and achievable.
If you have any goals in mind for the new year, how can you make them more defined so you can accomplish them?

Easy breezy beautiful cranberry oat cookies. 🍪
Full of fiber, minimal sugar from 100% maple syrup and cranberries, oats, bananas, kid friendly. I don’t think I need to sell this to anyone. It’s a game changer. Great for snacks for school, for snacks at work, road-trips, skiing, hiking… hello.

Also, the music selection for FB videos. 🙈😳🫣
