To our Healing Cottage Family 💕
Update; Kaci’s Healing Journey; 💪🏻

Well….the day is approaching!! My sister, Jen and I will be heading to Salt Lake tomorrow and we will be bringing Kaci home Wednesday!!!
I’m sorry I have struggled lately to update and answer message. I have been helping with Kaci’s care in the hospital, so I will be ready to be her caregiver when we are home. Please know I am so thankful for everything!!
With Kaci’s TBI, she is going through a phase right now, where she has no filter. She is working on, stopping and thinking before she speaks. She’s remembering more every day, and her healing is truly miraculous!!
I know she will want to have visitors, but right now she gets overwhelmed with a lot of activity. Please understand she’s still healing and will be processing her new way of living. Things will be completely different for her, actually for all of us. We will be living at my mom and dads, because my house has too many stairs. My dad built a ramp to their front porch for her. God love him. 🥰 I do know there will be challenges, but I also know “All things are possible!!!” God is good….All the time. We’ve got this. 💪🏻
Please continue to pray. 🙏🏻
I can’t thank you all enough, for being on this journey with us, for caring and and following her progress, your prayers….everything!!
I wish I could bring all of the healthcare team with us!! They are absolutely incredible!! I have a bond with each and everyone of them.
The only word that comes to my mind, is, grateful. That’s how my heart feels. ☺️
The journey continues…..and truly, the journey is life. It’s about learning, growing and peace that comes from all of those lessons.
That’s how I see it. ❤️❤️💕

Update; Kaci’s Healing Journey;

It will be 2 months on the 19th, since the accident. Kaci’s recovery has been absolutely miraculous!! She is doing amazing!! 💕💕 That is all I have to update, about Kaci, right now. Her healing is extraordinary!! 🙏🏻
I’ve been sitting in silence, seeing all of the incredible miracles unfold right before our eyes. I look for them every single day!!
Before the accident, my mom would continually complain that the grandkids never came to visit….now her and my dad have a houseful!! This is my mama and Kaci’s daughter Austyn. 🥰
How amazing is that?!! God is good…all the time.
Kaci’s release date from the hospital is coming up, and we are overjoyed!! She can’t wait to see her babies and I can’t wait either.
Thank you all again, for following her journey, for ALL of the prayers and positive thoughts and the donations. The power of prayer is just incredible!! God is always listening.

Kaci’s Healing Journey; Update;

We got to take a little walk yesterday. It was so nice for her to get some fresh air. She is doing amazing!! It truly is miraculous.
Her physical therapy is going great. She’s so tired of being in bed, and being in so much pain, but I keep reminding her…..you are still here to feel the pain!
She’s working so hard to build up her strength. Everyday she says, “It’s for my babies.” 💕

Our Healing Cottage family;
Update; Kaci’s healing journey;

I am in awe every single day when I walk into Kaci’s hospital room. Her healing is above and beyond what everyone thought it would be.
From where we were, until now, is an absolute miracle!! She’s getting her strength back, she’s standing with her right leg, writing, eating….all of it. They are actually working on a release date for her to come home.
All of the medical team’s she has seen are absolutely incredible!! I can’t say enough about them!! ❤️❤️❤️
We have met the most amazing, loving and kind souls. I’m actually trying to find the right words to update all of you, but….I have no words…and that’s ok. It’s a true miracle. 🙏🏻
These pictures are so private and personal to me, but, Kaci gave me permission to share this one. ☺️💕💕
She just got the hard brace off or her neck and they put this soft one on…..she is so relieved. So much more comfortable and not so hot.

Wow, so much to tell!
Kaci’s days consist of throat therapy, physical therapy….her recovery is truly miraculous!! She’s talking so good! She can’t wait to eat real food!!(She wants Mexican! 💙) We’ll get there. 😊
Her neck brace and arm brace will come off mid July. So exciting!!
I can’t tell you just how amazing it is to see her awake, to hear her voice, hear her laugh and see her smile. God is so Good. ☺️
In all of this, I have to say….I have met the most amazing people. The healthcare professionals, I have no words. Beautiful souls. 🌸
The outpouring of love, prayers and kindness is so powerful……The journey continues. Thank you all for being a part of it!! 💕💕💕 My Cup Runneth Over. 🙏🏻💕

To my Healing Cottage family;
Kaci’s healing journey; Update,
My beautiful girl woke up today! The first thing she said was, “Where are my kids? Are my kids ok?” She is talking, moving, having full conversation. We are witnessing one of God’s true miracles, right in front of our eyes!! Her dad called me as soon as he got to the hospital with the news. We still have healing to do. God’s not done, yet.
I literally dropped to my knees, in awe of God’s Grace mercy and unconditional love. I have struggled with words all day, but, sometimes…there are no words, and that’s ok.
To all of you…..thank you! Your love, prayers, kindness and support, is what is getting us through this. It takes a village, my aunt said, and there is no truer words ever spoken. The power of prayer and goodness is miraculous. From my heart….thank you again. The best is yet to come!! Please, continued prayers for Kaci Taylor Wenger, and we will continue to fight the good fight!! Love to all!! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Hello Healing Cottage family. It's Jennifer here. Just wanted to give quick update on Kaci. She is doing well. They are getting ready to move her to a rehabilitation center to really start getting her brain to wake up. We can't wait to get our girl back and her babies can't wait to get their momma back. She still has a long way to go and unfortunately in Montana we do not have any rehabilitation centers for brain injuries. So she will still be out of state. It's hard she is so far from home. Please continue to pray and send Tammy strength to get through this. You all are AMAZING. Thank you for being so patient. I try to update for Tammy when I can.

Kaci’s healing journey💕 Spirit is definitely around us. 💕🌸
I pray this will help someone as much as it did me. I was sitting in the open parking garage praying. I was asking God, for a visit from a bird. I love the birds!! ☺️ I waited and waited and finally started the walk back into the hospital. I got on the elevator and looked down. I don’t think anyone else even noticed, but I am so open to messages of love and light. Here is my bird. God answered my prayer, not in the way I had expected but in his miraculous way. I have loved miniatures my whole life. This little glass bird brought me peace. 💕 I hope this brings some peace to someone who needs it. 🙏🏻💕💕

My Healing Cottage family. 💕
Little update. Kaci was moved yesterday from the ICU into a regular room, which is huge!! I know she can hear me and I can feel her energy. She looks at me but it’s just for a split second. She isn’t focusing and can’t follow commands yet, but I know it’s coming and will take time. It is excruciating to see my baby going through such pain. It almost makes me physically ill. I am absolutely staying positive for her. Long days at the hospital but I’m so thankful that I’m staying with family here. They are amazing!! (Beth Toivonen Klaumann). ❤️ I’ve given it to God because I have no control over anything. He is carrying me through this. I’ve never felt this much strength and courage in my life. Jesus has his healing hands on all of us. Please continue to pray for my beautiful girl. Thank you all for your prayers, love, support and donations. I have no words. I can definitely feel all of it. Thank you for caring and all of your kindness. 🥲❤️❤️
Living moment by moment. 💕 I’m so thankful for my family! Keonni LeProwse and Josh G. Harned are taking great care of the kids and everyone in the family is helping. They are all such a blessing. 💕💕 Thank you also to my Jennifer Toivonen Paddock for all of the updates and my evening calls where we laugh and cry together. It helps so much! 💕💕
