Rooted Tribe teamed up with Hungry Hill Pottery to help with a great project, emptying bowls.
Pottery forces you to slow down as the act of making cannot be rushed, which is amazing for meditation practice, mindfulness and a slower paced lifestyle.

The reason why pottery is such a great form of meditation for combating stress in our fast-paced lives, you get so focused on the creative act of making that there’s no room for your other thoughts or worries; it provides your mind with a much-needed rest from these areas of your life.

The messiness of making is another reason why pottery is great for slowing-down in our smartphone-driven ages, the clay provides a physical barrier to you picking up your phone - unless you want it covered in the stuff! I am always learning🙏🏼 (it feels like the more I learn, the less I know:)
I had a beautiful friend from the studio not only share a recipe, but brought me the amazing ingredients to try the Chinese Medicine for wrinkles. This is the first time I have heard of or tried some of the ingredients❤️Have you tried any of them? First up~

Tremella Mushroom 🍄‍🟫 According to traditional Chinese medicine theory, tremella promotes longevity, and it has been nicknamed “Fountain of Youth” since the Tang dynasty (618–907 CE).
Tremella mushrooms are a valuable source of protein and dietary fiber. They also contain various vitamins and minerals, flavonoids, and polyphenols.
tremella mushrooms have a protective effect on collagen-producing cells called fibroblasts. Collagen is the protein that keeps skin soft and elastic, and its production tends to decrease with age.🤷🏼‍♀️

Jujube 🍈 Jujube fruits contain a variety of antioxidant compounds such as flavonoids, polysaccharides, and triterpenic acids.
They are also rich in vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant -they have the ability to fight free radicals.
Due to their antioxidant, vitamin C, and Potassium content, they may offer some health benefits and are traditionally used in Chinese medicine.

Goji berries ❤️ MOST OVERLOOKED BENEFIT: GOJI BERRY IS AN AMPK ACTIVATOR! AMPK stands for adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase. Studies show that when it’s activated, there is a cascade of health benefits: lowered blood sugars, lowered cholesterol, and so much more.
