One of my favorite Ayurvedic headache remedies đ° A little nutmeg magic!
Nutmeg (jaiphal) is warming, slightly sedative, and known in Ayurveda to calm vata in the head region⌠aka the scattered, overthinking, wired-but-tired energy that often leads to tension stress headaches.
Hereâs how to try it:
⨠Mix 1â2 tsp ground nutmeg with 1 tsp water (just enough to make a thick paste)
⨠Rub gently onto the forehead
⨠Lay down, close your eyes, and rest for 20 minutes
⨠Rinse off with warm water
