Jen is back at Mt A, such great news!

We are so excited to have Jen Williams CNM back at Mount Auburn! 🎉
Jen was at Mount Auburn for 13 years and has been working in Maine for the past 4 years. We are thrilled to have the back in the family!

An amazing group of human beings!

October 5-11 is National Midwifery Week, the perfect time to celebrate all of our wonderful certified nurse midwives!

Certified nurse midwives (CNMs) are registered nurses with graduate-level training in midwifery.

They care for patients during pregnancy, labor, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

We're fortunate to have an outstanding team of more than a dozen CNMs who provide expert, personalized care to their patients.

Last year alone, our CNMs attended more than 1,200 births here at the Hospital!

We're proud to offer Midwifery Care to our community and to celebrate this terrific team this week.

Please join us in welcoming Kathleen London-Lopes, CNM, who will be joining the Southcoast Health Obstetrics & Gynecology office located at 300 Hanover Street, Suite 3A in Fall River, MA on October 6, 2025.

Kathleen is a board-certified nurse midwife with a Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health from the University of Rhode Island. She began her career as a labor and delivery nurse at Women & Infants Hospital and Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island before completing her midwifery training at Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital and Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Passionate about women’s health, she is a proud member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Dr. Oluyinka Olutoye, a Nigerian pediatric surgeon, made history by performing a rare fetal surgery at just 23 weeks of pregnancy. He temporarily removed the baby from the womb, excised a tumor from the tailbone, and safely returned the fetus.
