Good evening beautiful ladies.
I wanted to drop a few reminders again. Its that time of year- we are in the thick of tan season. Proms, Graduations, Vacations, Weddings, Parties, Pictures & well just because.

But as the volume of airbrush tans increases, so do the clients who come in who haven't followed the instructions. And we are just starting to get into the dreaded sunburn & spray tans don't mix time of the year as well.

The NO LIST applies to prep as well as aftercare. If you exfoliate using Tree Hut or Olay Exfoliating Scrub or shower with Olay or Dove before your appointment, you will most likely have issues with your tan developing. No solution or spray tan artist can magically overpower those products. The NO LIST pictured below is not all inclusive but some of the most common offenders.

To assist our clients & help promote the best outcomes, we have curated list of recommended STC (spray tan compatible) products- from scrubs & body washes to lotions, tan extenders & sunscreens.

If you've applied lotions, sprays, perfumes or make up without washing it off with an STC soap/ cleanser, your tan isnt going to develop. Water alone won't remove the lotion.

If you have been burned by a tanning bed or the sun within 4-5 weeks of your appointment, I'm sorry to say, but it's not a good idea. Sunless products on burned, damaged skin= peeling skin and very obvious color variation. The best way to avoid this- don't get a sunburn 🚫.

If you want a "base tan" from a uv bed, please go to a reputable business with ethical & educated staff. Give yourself at least 6 sessions to begin developing a base gradually and more safely, with session times tailored for your skin type on a schedule that works with your body's biochemistry.

If you have a wedding or formal event upcoming, my advice would be to avoid all tan lines (unprotected uv exposure) for at least 3 months prior to your wedding/event.

Lastly, if you've booked a Nurture Luxury Sunless Tan, read & follow my prep instructions. Use recommended products. Read & follow my aftercare instructions. Use recommended products. Do those things & your results & experience will be amazing ✨️🫶

Busy season is here 🙌! I recommend scheduling your appointments in advance to get the services, dates & times you prefer.

I would also love to try to open up some additional days/hours (if there is enough interest) to see if it would help accommodate anyone who is missing out on being Nurtured because it doesn't fit with their current schedule.

We are currently open Tuesday- Saturday. We have late night hours on T&Th until 8 pm (currently 6-8 is by appointment). Our Saturday hours are currently 10am- 2pm by appointment. Would you like to see morning hours added, or Sunday afternoons?

Please let us know in the comments what changes you would like to see for these next 3 months.

The language in this bill limits an individuals choice to receive the kind of care and services they choose and see fit. This does not just apply to ND's, but also to other wellness practitioners, providers, coaches or facilities not licensed under or outside of the scope of the medical board.

Practicing medicine without a license is a crime & those laws were originally created to protect the public.

However, this bill is much more than they want you to realize- it means laying hands & praying healing over someone, applying a sacred oil on the sick & dying, providing PEMF, sound baths, using frequency or energy work such as reiki or even sharing herbs, supplements or meal plans, any form of natural healing modality...it could land you in prison.

For those who are choosing to utilize those services, knowingly and willingly, they absolutely should have the choice to do as they see fit with their own body. And, it should not equate to the practitioner being charged & convicted with a felony, facing prison & fines.

This bill is about the medical industrial complex, the pharmaceutical industry, money, control and leaving us with no viable options outside of traditional western medicine to try to mitigate the poisonous society we find ourselves existing in. It is not an accident, it is part of a plan. This bill means we all would have to go to a licensed medical doctor FOR ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!

I don't know about you, but I absolutely know without a doubt that this is not freedom, these are not the principles our Country was founded upon! We were given the authority by God to choose, to use discernment- this certainly does not exclude what we do with our bodies, our health & wellness.

Healing is deeply personal, it is not an one size fits all and it is definitely not always a medical event.

Do you ever receive information or guidance from your spiritual team? As humans, we are all capable of "other knowing", we all have a connection to a realm (mostly) unseen by our 2 eyes.

Children, those who have had NDE's, monks, some clerics & religious/spiritual leaders, those who dedicate significant time to spiritual practice and those often labeled as psychics or clairvoyant have a more fluent connection to this realm. Our species often clouds or even halts these lines of communication or channels of information through incompatible lifestyles, busy-ness, choice or belief.

The rate & clarity of information or guidance I receive ebbs & flows like many other aspects of my llife, often dependent on my concious choice to quiet myself and tune in or focus. Sometimes information comes loudly, despite my lack of active cooperation in the process. Today was an example of a message that came through despite my lack of quiet or cooperation. The message-

"The way forward is through cooperatives.

Small, local groups, sharing knowledge, responsibility & resources, without dependence on larger/global systems that by their very design are created & deployed to stagnate, stunt, suppress & destroy. By returning to the original intended designs & structures, with new knowledge, ideas & resources to share you may begin to restore what has been so egregiously disrupted."

Food & necessity cooperatives, community cooperatives, wellness & healthcare cooperatives, education cooperatives, childcare cooperatives & trade/labor cooperatives. We have traded convenience and access for knowledge, health, sanity, peace & connection.

Imagine a place where having our needs met wasn't dependant on commerce or capital, governments or corporations, systems that are not designed for our support- but rather one where the constituents of the cooperative all working together for their own success.
