Guernsey Industries is excited to announce that services will be provided by PALS Starting May 1, 2024. With this change, many more community-based opportunities will become available to the individuals that we serve. The same caring staff that everyone knows will stay, along with leadership. The PALS team will work with leadership, to make sure the transition has a seamless flow by working their community-based services, into the services that we are currently providing. The future for this area and the individuals that we serve looks so bright and full of opportunities that you could only dream of.

Due to the raising in flood waters in and around our area. Guernsey Industries Transportation will be canceled for tomorrow Thursday, April 4th, 2024.

We are running on regular hours. GI transportation is not running today. Everyone be safe out there.

Due to flooding roads and the incoming storm, GI will be dismissing at noon today Tuesday April 2, 2024. Tomorrow April 3rd, 2024 GI will not be running our transportation, you will need to provide your own transportation in and home . Please stay safe out there.

Our transportation may be running a little behind this morning, due to flooding road ways. Our drivers will do their best to pick up everyone on thier routes. But if they run into flooded roadway, they will not be able to get you. A call will be made to you if they are unable to pick you up. Thank you and be safe.

Our Story

Guernsey Industries is a non-profit organization founded in 1972 under Guernsey-Nobel Counties Inc. to provide employment and social services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities. In July of 2015 we became a private provider but are still located in the same building. We have a Work Shop and a Pallet Floor for our working individuals and then we have a Day Hab also for those who choose not to/or are unable to work. We have 6 transportation vehicles which include 2 - 11 passenger vans, 3 shuttles and a mini van. We also have pick-up truck along with our box truck and flat bed truck which are used for deliveries. We contract through many local businesses including Cambridge Packaging, SDI, Picoma and Detroit Diesel to name a few! These companies provide work for our individuals and in return we provide product for them. We also clean for places such as Kennedy’s Bakery, the County Administration Building and the Byesville Water Plant.
