What Is an Attachment Style?

An attachment style refers to the way we emotionally connect to others, form relationships, and respond to closeness, trust, and conflict.
These patterns begin in early childhood through relationships with caregivers and continue to influence how we relate to others throughout life.

The 4 Attachment Styles:

• Secure Attachment
• Anxious Attachment
• Avoidant Attachment
• Disorganized Attachment

Attachment styles lay the foundations for future relationships as adults.
Understanding your attachment style is the first step toward healthier connection and emotional growth.

Emotional growth doesn’t come from “toughening up.”
It comes from being understood.

Kids learn emotional regulation when adults:
• Name emotions instead of dismissing them
• Validate feelings, even during big reactions
• Teach coping skills, not shame
• Model calm and healthy communication

When children feel emotionally safe, they grow emotionally strong.

Transforming Negative Self-Talk IS ACHIEVABLE.

That voice in your head?
The one that says “I’m not enough” or “I always mess things up”?

That’s negative self-talk.
And it’s learned… which means it can be unlearned.

Affirmations help retrain the brain by:
• Interrupting automatic negative thoughts
• Creating healthier thought patterns
• Building self-compassion and confidence over time

Try this today ⬇️
❌ “I’m failing.”
✅ “I’m learning and growing.”

Small shifts in language can create powerful shifts in mental health.
