About Us: CMP Drug Company became Garrett's Drug Center in September 1980 when Doug and Deborah Garrett purchased the Pharmacy. Doug was the first pharmacist to personally own a pharmacy in Pickett County. The business had been located on the Courthouse Square since the 1940's. In September 1984, a fire destroyed Garrett's Drug Center and several other businesses. Garrett's Drug Center relocated to what is now 8456 Hwy One-Eleven Byrdstown.
