Building Positive Postural Habits
Week 1- Sitting up straight:
- Scoot your butt to the back of the chair
- Use a small pillow or lumbar support to maintain the spine's natural curve
- Keep your knees and hips at 90 degrees.
This provides a base for good alignment in your shoulders and neck.

Twas the night before Christmas, at the North Pole so grand,
Santa and his helpers prepared with care at hand.
They rolled back their shoulders, stretched out their spines,
Aligned their posture, feeling mighty just fine.

The elves did neck tilts, their chins tucked just right,
To avoid any tension come Christmas Eve's flight.
Mrs. Claus led them through squats and lunges with ease,
Ensuring their joints and their muscles would please.

Old St. Nick himself did leg swings and hip circles,
To keep him agile, no stiffness to hinder.
With posture perfected, their bodies felt light,
Ready to soar through the cold winter's night.

No back would be sore, no joint would cause pain,
As they delivered presents again and again.
With hip flexors engaged and alignment so sweet,
Santa's crew took flight, holiday cheer to complete.

WISHING YOU A PAIN-FREE CHRISTMAS!

Tip 10: When you sit in your chair, think of your upper body in a yoga pose. Keep your hips at a 90-degree angle, push your b***y back, and arch your back toward your belly button. This will help counteract poor posture! πŸ‘
