We sure did have a great week for Assisted living week!
Thursday we made some seashell coasters out of resin.
Chef Maggie and her culinary team did an exceptional job on our exploration meals for lunch! We traveled to Jamaica on Thursday and Cuba on Friday!

We ended our week with another party with mocktails and snacks! And then one resident wanted Ice cream, those who know us girls in life enrichment know how much we love our ice cream and we always have enough to share with everyone! So spur of the moment Sundaes it was!

It’s been a a great week!
Tuesday we went on an adventure to the beach for exercise class!
In the afternoon we had our white out party with Kevin Cavanouh! Everyone loved singing, dancing and waving our glow sticks to the beat of Kevin’s music!
Right after our party we gave towel animal creations a try! Our elephant didn’t look to shabby!
Wednesday we had Post family Farm donuts, played some beach volleyball and then played Lets make a deal! The residents could choose to keep your prize or take the chance to get something better! Only a handful of residents got Zonked.
They ended their Wednesday evening with mocktails and episode 2 of Bridgerton!

We have had a productive day launching Assisted Living week. Our theme for the week is Cruise Theme. The day started with a full room of residents participating in meditation and yoga. This was followed by a spa day, where the ladies and one gentleman enjoyed face masks, neck, shoulder, and hand massages. We also organized Cruise-themed Bingo, served with milkshakes.

We had a wonderful program today featuring Wendy B and The”Lost Arts” bringing History to Life!

Our residents loved learning about the Victorian woman and their clothing styles from the late 1800’s and Early 1900’s. It was quite fascinating to see how the styles changed over the years!
