Here is a photo from the opening of the Rockford Clinic. Here is Dr Mike and his mother Ruth. Ruth, Dr Brant's grandmother, actually found the spot where the clinic was built. Ruth's husband, three sons, three grandsons, one granddaughter, and two of her grandchildren's spouses would all become chiropractors.

Here is a photo of the earliest day here at the Rockford clinic. The guy smiling on the left in front is very happy. On this day the Hulsebus family purchases all new adjusting tables. This is the largest purchase of adjusting tables in one day by anyone except a college..

The big move from Byron to Rockford. Late 1978 the Rockford Clinic opens. Dr Mike would leave the Byron practice and now work full time in the Rockford Clinic. The clinic is one of the largest Chiropractic clinics at the time it opened.

Did you know Dr Bob originally thought S Meridian and 20 was a great place to open a clinic? He thought this area would develop rapidly. As you can see here it still has not. Luckily for everyone Ruth Hulsebus saw a street that was being developed for physician offices near the then new mall.

Day 18 of 75
It is now the mid 1970's. In 1974 Dr Roger Hulsebus graduates from Palmer then in 1975 Dr Mike also graduates. The Byron clinic is feeling small with all of them. Dr Jim is at Palmer preparing to also return to Byron. It is time to star to look for a larger place to practice.
