Our residents spent time today filling Easter eggs for the Cabool Chamber of Commerce Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4th at Roberts Park.

It’s always meaningful to be part of something that brings the community together—especially events that create a little extra joy for local kids and families.

A big thank you to:

🦫❄️ KNH residents celebrated Groundhog Day in true KNH style! We watched the big ceremony, launched into a friendly snowball fight, and then took our chances at Whack-a-Groundhog — featuring Tristan Bradley, the therapy department's Director of Rehabilitation, bravely stepping into the role of the groundhog. (Heroic? Questionable. Entertaining? Absolutely.)

🦸‍♀️💥Today was also our staff Dress Like a Superhero contest!
Big congrats to Front Office’s Brenda Jarrett, who flew away with the win in her superhero-themed shirt and earned a $10 gift certificate to Miller's Crossing Coffee and Bistro for her heroic participation.

Laughter, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun — whether winter sticks around or not, the spirits at KNH are definitely sunny ☀️💙

✨Today, KNH ADON, Markie Sparks, recognized Beth Middleton, Activity Director at Kabul Nursing Home, in honor of National Activity Professionals Week.✨

Continuing with the theme: "Beyond the Ordinary: Everyday Superheroes," we'd like to share Beth's Superhero Origin Story.🦸‍♀️

💙Beth has been part of the KNH family since 1995. She has worn many hats along the way—housekeeping, dietary, CNA, and CMT—before moving into activities in 2018. Her love for visiting with and caring for residents has always been at the heart of her work. Even today, she continues to step in as a CNA and CMT. With decades of experience, there aren’t many surprises for Beth—just a deep understanding that making residents happy is what matters most. Her everyday superpowers are adaptability and staying calm. What keeps her coming back, even on hard days? The residents, of course! Behind the scenes, Beth puts in countless hours of planning and preparation—even on her days off—to make every moment meaningful. 💙

🎉Thank you, Beth, for the care, dedication, and heart you bring to our residents every day. We’re grateful for you and proud to recognize you during National Activity Professionals Week. 🫶
