What a great (and BUSY!) day!

The VA recognizes clinical/medical massage therapy as “one of the evidence-based, complementary and integrative health (CIH) approaches within the VHA Whole Health System of care” and may cover the cost of this care when deemed necessary.

To obtain a referral, veterans should:

✅️ Schedule an appointment with their primary care provider at the VA

✅️ Discuss how massage therapy could help manage specific health issues, such as chronic pain, anxiety/stress, or injury recovery

✅️ Request a referral for massage therapy
